The Serbs fleeing from the Turks brought the ‘Kadarka’ varietal to Eger. With high alcohol content, and strong spicy flavours, this wine can be characterised as a real ‘fiery’ one. Enjoy this wine as a slightly chilled aperitif to hot and spicy Hungarian dishes. We have made 2000 bottles of the first vintage.
