TRESOR WINE
It is the inalienable right of the leaders of the wine-growers’ community in Eger that they are allowed to make 6500 bottles of Egri Bikavér (Bull’s Blood of Eger) from their own vintage according to the regulations of origin protection of Egri Bikavér each year. Under these regulations they are entitled to put their Egri Bikavér wine on the market with the label ‘Hegybíró Bora’ and use their own names on the label. This wine, in particular, was made by Dr. Bence Dula (leader of the wine-growers’ community 1995-2005) from his own vintage in the wine cellar of Béla Vincze, wine-grower of Eger. The wine was first shown to the public on Saint Donat’s Day, the festival day of the Egri Bikavér wine in 2002.
